Get to know Chris Cox
Chris has been in the financial services industry since 1995. He began his career in the life insurance industry with Franklin Life Insurance Company. He became an independent insurance professional in 2002 and has worked diligently to serve his clients in the area of retirement income planning.
Chris grew up in the small town of York, Nebraska, where his mother was a schoolteacher and his father owned and operated a clothing business for 39 years. Chris learned the importance of customer service at a young age and that loyalty and trust come from treating people as you want to be treated. As much as Chris loves serving Cornerstone Wealth Management clients, he has one other great passion: coaching youth sports. He is currently a baseball coach at Canyon del Oro High School and gets tremendous satisfaction from making an impact in the lives of young adults.
Chris moved to Arizona from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after working as an insurance professional there for 14 years. Many of Chris’ clients were Arizona “snowbirds,” which caused Chris and his wife of 20-plus years, Beth, to travel to Tucson in the winter so he could better service the portfolios of his Midwestern clients. They fell in love with the Arizona climate and decided to relocate full time in 2005, and they have enjoyed the mild winters in Oro Valley ever since.
Chris and Beth have a daughter, Kaylor, and a son, Trey. Chris enjoys golfing, fishing and hunting in South Dakota and Nebraska with family and friends.
